

John “Jack” Michael Pirritano, 56 years old of Avondale, Louisiana passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015 at the home of his daughter, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 28, 1958 in Buffalo, New York.
He was the father of John Jeffrey “Jeff” Pirritano and daughter Michelle Nichole “Nikki’ Pirritano. Future daughter-in-law Joy Galy and son-in-law Brandon Allemand. Father figure of Tyleda “TBug” Hartman and the late Chaz Allen Brumfield.
Four grandchildren, Brielle “Breezy”, Brandon “Bubby”, Timothy “TJ”, John “Lil John-John” (named after Jack) and Cheyanne “Chey-Chey” Hartman.
He is preceded in death by his partner of 22 years, Connie “ConnieMac” Smoak, mother, Sandra J. Codd-Pirritano, Grandmother Codd, nephew, James Pirritano, and Uncle, Joseph “Joe”. He is survived by his former wife, Virginia “Ginger” Brumfield-Pirritano, Father, John J. Pirritano, brother, Jim Pirritano (wife, Jackie), nephew, Todd Pirritano (wife, Lynn), sister, Lynn Pirritano-Echert, niece, Melissa Lynn, nephews, Ronnie & Neil Echert (wife, Carmela) and nephew, Shawn.
Aunts, Sue (Fritz) Seegert, Mary Christian and Debbie (Vito) Flitt and Uncle, Brian Codd. Many other cousins, other family members.
Many friends. Woodiz & Cheryl Lynn, Grizzly, Mark and a very close dear friend, “Hippie Howdy” and so many more from Buffalo, N.Y. and Louisiana.
Although his given name was, John Pirritano, he was known from childhood to everyone as “Jack”. Or known by his Grandmother Codd, as she would call him – “JackoCoin”. Known by close friends as “Trapper John”. Jack had a big “Heart of Gold”, and he was a giver and helped all he knew or met.
Worked hard at his company business as a Professional Roofer. Jack lived to provide for his children and grandchildren. His heart rested in Buffalo, New York, but his love and life for his
Children and grandchildren rested him here in Louisiana.
If there is one thing to REMEMBER him by ~ It was his famous saying~ when asked, “How is everything, How are you doing, How is your day going~ He would reply~and say~ “FINE AS FROG’S HAIR”
And adding to it at times, “AND THAT IS VERY FINE”.
R.I.P., Jack, because we all know you are “Fine As Frog’s Hair”, in the Arms of Our Heavenly Father above. Well-loved and will be truly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy., Marrero, LA on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 6:00 PM. Visitation from 3:00 PM until Mass time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jack’s loving memory to the John “Jack” Pirritano Benefit Fund at any Regions Bank.
