She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Carl “Jordan” Cantrelle, Sr., as well as her son Myron Cantrelle (Jill). She is survived by her sons Carl, Jr. (Tammy), and Kerry (Cathy), and daughter, Jennifer Gregory (Shawn). She was also survived by six grandchildren, Chad (Crystal), Amanda (Thomas), Erin (Matt) CarlyJo, Molly, and Myranda, and six great grandchildren, Kota, Keegan, Levi, Ryan, Cruz, and Tomi, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She is also predeceased by her parents, Leah Z Gaubert and Ambrose Gaubert, as well as her 9 siblings, Lawrence, Irby, Dennis, Emerson, Clifford, Norman, Eunice, Ethel, and Agnes.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family, her church, her volunteer work with St. Charles Parish RSVP, and her garden.
A funeral service will be held at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Taft. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
