Lionel Joseph Gaudet passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the age of 85. He was the son of the late Felix Pierre Gaudet and Rosema Rock Gaudet. Father of Sammie Miller and Lori Gaudet. Brother of the late Edna G. Bond, Anna G. Fontenot, Walter Gaudet, Whitney "Frenchie" Gaudet, Percy Gaudet, Beulah G. Bergeon, Lawrence Guadet, Felix Leon Gaudet Jr., Norman Gaudet, Lucille G. Melancon, Alice G. Adams, Eugene Gaudet, Mildred G. Hill, Malcolm Gaudet, and Doris G. Ponthieux. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was a longtime resident of Crown Point. He was a butcher and commercial fisherman.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.
