Manuel Torres Jr. passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on September 20, 1959 to the late Manuel Torres Sr. and Yolanda B. Jasso. Devoted husband of Faith Torres, loving father of Nicholas J. Torres (Melissa) and Zef M. Torres and the late Manuel Torres, III and proud grandfather of Sara and Megan. Manuel is also survived by his sisters Leticia (Richard) Everett, Gloria (Ed) Ulecia, Gail Cox; brother Bernard (Amanda) Cox; nieces Katherine, Kristy and Jocelyn Everett; nephews Gilbert Reyes and Thomas (Kayla) Everett, and great nephew Owen Everett.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, September 10, 2022 beginning at 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero. A remembrance service will begin at 1:00PM and interment will immediately follow at Adams Cemetery in Lafitte.
