Margaret Mary Benefield passed away at home on Friday, November 6, 2020 at the age of 70. She was the mother of Sarah Vincent, Daniel Benefield, and Brian Benefield. She was the fiancé of Bryan St. Amant. She is also survived by her loving canine companion, Tucker.
She was a native of Hartford, CT, and resident of the West Bank for over 30 years. She was a licensed practical nurse for a geriatric facility for many years, who loved taking care of the elderly. She loved being at the beach, cooking, or just being with her children. She will be particularly remembered for her incredible lasagna, though her version of scrambled eggs was quite remarkable as well. She will be remembered as kind, compassionate, hard working, and quite frequently stubborn. She will also be remembered for the courage and fortitude with which she fought the cancer that would eventually take her life. She will be missed.
