Margaret "Lark" Simmons passed away on Tuesday, July 19th, 2022 at the age of 89. Larkt was born in Gonzales, Louisiana on March 27, 1933 to the late Joseph W. Roberts and Ethel Bourgeois Roberts. She was married to the late Marvin "Bear" E. Simmons Sr. . Loving mother of Claudia S. Fazzio (Vince), Daniel Simmons (Patricia), and the late Marvin E. Simmons Jr. Proud Maw Maw of Zachary Fazzio, Sunshine Fazzio, Danielle Simmons, and Rebecca Evans. Great Grandmother of Spencer Fazzio, Ella Fazzio, Collin Evans, and Emily Romines. Sister of Darrel R. Roberts (Karen). Lark is survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends who will miss her dearly.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, July 23rd, 2022 in the chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 11:00AM and continue until the service time. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gretna, Louisiana.
