

Marilyn Ann Painter went into Eternal rest on Wednesday, June 8th, 2022, at the age of 77. Marilyn was born March 13th, 1945, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Loving mother of Brent L. Maloney, Tammy M. DeMille, and Patrick J. Maloney (m. Reagan Butcher Maloney). Proud grandmother to Jack DeMille and Lily DeMille. Marilyn is survived by other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
A proud New Orleanian, Marilyn graduated from Warren Easton High and went on to attend LSU-UNO. She was a devoted housewife and served the Department of the Navy for 18+ years in the department of Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR). She was a parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Algiers, Louisiana. Marilyn loved music, dancing, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Michael Painter, of 11 years, and her parents, Vincent and Mary Keenan.
A memorial service will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church at 3101 Eton Street, New Orleans, Louisiana on Thursday, June 16th, 2022, at 11 AM. This will be followed by food and refreshments at the Olive Branch Café at 5145 Gen DeGaulle Drive, New Orleans, Louisiana.
