

A graduate of West Jefferson High School, Dwight excelled in the oil field industry as a pipefitter and welder and later as a Project Manager. He held many titles in his life, but his favorite roles were being a husband, father, and grandfather. He loved nothing more than spending time with his beloved wife, Patty, his adult children Tiffany (Todd) and Dwight, Jr. (Katie) and his precious grandchildren, Shelby Yokum, Brandon Comeaux, Nathan Hewson, Savannah Relayson, Orenthal (OJ) Adams, Omira Adams, and Omaya Adams, his 2 beautiful great-grandchildren Mila and Eden. He is also survived by his sisters, Diane Wildey and Sandra Ory and well as a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Dominick Rudolph and mother Catherine Munch Rudolph, both of Barataria, Louisiana and his loving sister Dale Rudolph Smith Dehart.
To honor his memory a visitation for McDwight will be held Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA 70072. A religious ceremony will occur Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Westside/Leitz Eagan chapel. A committal service will occur Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Westlawn Cemetery, 1225 Whitney Ave., Terrytown, LA 70056.
