Michael D. Estrada

Michael D. Estrada passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the age of 38. He was the beloved husband of Becky Russell Estrada. Father of Marisa Nicole Estrada. Son of Vondell Estrada and Mary Estrada. Brother of Chris Estrada (Wendy), Diana Estrada, Joe Villella (Jennifer), and the late Jody Estrada. Stepfather of Brandon Russell, Michael Russell, Shane Parker, and Sydney Parker. Uncle of Devin Estrada, Cayli Estrada, Autumn Greer, Constance Greer, and Killian Greer. He is also survived by his fur babies, Buddy, Bree, and Geezy.

Mike loved life and was larger than life. He loved his “Bless You Boys.” He loved his friends. He loved making people laugh. He idolized his brother, Chris. He loved his daughter, especially beating her in Guitar Hero. Mike loved his family more than anything. Mike was a very special person and is loved by many.

Visitation will be held in the Parlor of Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie, LA on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
