Muriel J. Chaisson

Muriel J. Chaisson was born on September 4, 1938 and departed this life on November 19, 2010 at the age of 72. She was born in Lynn, Mass but was a longtime resident of Westwego. She was a homemaker, loving mother and beloved wife of Norris C. Chaisson for the last 52 years. She was the daughter of the late Josephine Small and daughter-in-law of the late Rene and Vince Chaisson. She is survived by her two daughters Laurie Chaisson Smith and Wendy Chaisson Rohne, her son-in-laws Ronald J. Smith, Sr., Stacy T. Rohne. She was the grandmother of Ronald J. Smith, Jr., Danielle M. Smith, Mikey A. Hebert, Deven P. Hebert and Ryan J. Hebert. She is also survived by her two sisters Ruth Shanahan and Joan Small and her brother Robert “Bobby” Small and a host of nieces and nephews and her sister-in-laws, and her brother-in-law, Rene “Shuddy” Chaisson, and her sister-in laws, Grace Usea and Betty Jean Boudreaux. She was the sister-in-law of the late Carrol “C.J.”, Gerald “Chase”, Oscar “O.J”, Chester “Chippy” Howard “Kite”, Lawerence “Cricket” Gary “Snuffy”, Charles “Capone” and Jerome “J.T.” Chaisson. She was the God-Mother of Justine Rogers and Charles “BaBoy” Chaisson. She will be greatly missed by all.
