Myrtle Plaisance Frickey

Myrtle Plaisance Frickey entered into Eternal Rest on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at her home with her family by her side at the age of 84. She was the beloved wife of the late Archie Frickey, Sr. and the loving mother of Gail Tassin, Archie Frickey, Jr., Cindy Loyd and the late Sherrin Geiger. She was the devoted grandmother of Randy Tassin, Sr., Michael Tassin, Sr., Amy Eckerle, David Loyd, Jr., Kelly Geiger, Kristy Francis, Rechell Clelland and the late Angie Geiger, and the great-grandmother of 19 as well as the great-great grandmother of 4. She was the daughter of the late John Plaisance and Lelia Hebert Plaisance and the sister of Janet Bruce, the late Jean Theriot and Bertha Boudreaux. Myrtle was the mother-in-law of J-Boy Tassin, David Loyd, Sr., Larry Geiger and the late Wanda Frickey.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Westside Leitz Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Chapel.
