Nobert Luis Estrella

The late Novelt (Nobert) Luis Estrella was the loving husband of Theresa Estrella. To this union were Henry Charles, Lynda Tran, Donavin Estrella, Ángel Estrella, and Chaila Estrella. He was born to the union of Pedro and Nieve Estrella. Novelt had Nieves (Maximo) Alcantara, Braulio Estrella, Peter (Elizabeth) Estrella, and Stepahnie (Hector) Machado whom he adored. He had grandchildren Tracy Coleman, Nevaeh Charles, Nayla Charles, Nastasia Fredenburg, and Nova Charles and best friend Luis Escoto.

Novelt received the Lord as his personal Savior and joined Immaculate Conception Church and later Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Aldon E. Cotton, where he was a faithful member. As a beloved educator Novelt was an inspiration to students, teachers, and the community.

He graduated from John Ehret High School and attended the University of New Orleans and Columbia Southern University where he received three degrees, Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature, Masters in Education Administration, and Master of Business Administration and was certified as an Associate Safety Professional, Certified Instructional Trainer, Construction Site Safety Supervisor, and Construction Site Safety Technician. Above all these accomplishments he cherished God and family most.

A funeral service will be held Friday, August 18, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA 70072. Aldon E. Cotton, Pastor of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, will be officiating the services. A visitation for Nobert will be held Friday, August 18, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A committal service will follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna. A repass will follow at House of Memories Event Room, 1933 Stumpf Blvd, Gretna, LA, 70056. El fallecido Novelt (Nobert) Luis Estrella fue el amado esposo de Theresa Estrella. Frutos de esta unión son Henry Charles, Lynda Tran, Donavin Estrella, Ángel Estrella y Chaila Estrella. Novelt es el primogénito de Pedro y Nieve Estrella con hermanos, Nieves (Máximo) Alcántara, Braulio Estrella, Peter (Elizabeth) Estrella y Stephanie (Héctor) Machado, a quienes adoraba. Novelt era el orgulloso abuelo de Tracy Coleman, Nevaeh Charles, Nayla Charles, Nastasia Fredenburg y Nova Charles, y era el mejor amigo de Luis Escoto.

Novelt recibió al Dios como su Señor y Salvador personal a una temprana edad, se unió a la Iglesia de la Inmaculada Concepción y más tarde a la Iglesia Bautista Misionera de Jerusalén bajo el liderazgo del Reverendo Aldon E. Se graduó de la escuela secundaria John Ehret y asistió a la Universidad de Nueva Orleans y Columbia Southern University, donde recibió tres títulos, una licenciatura en lengua y literatura Francesas, una Maestría en Administración Educativa y una Maestría en Administración de Empresas, y fue certificado como Asociado en Seguridad. Instructor profesional certificado, supervisor de seguridad en obras de construcción y técnico de seguridad en obras de construcción. Por encima de todos estos logros, apreciaba más a Dios y a la familia.

El funeral se llevará a cabo el Viernes, 18 de agosto de 2023 de 11:00 a.m. a 12:00 p.m. en 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA 70072. Rev. Aldon E. Cotton de la Iglesia Bautista Misionera de Jerusalén, oficiará los servicios. Se llevará a cabo un velorio para Novelt el Viernes 18 de agosto de 2023 de 9:00 a.m. a 11:00 a. m.
