He was the loving husband to his high school sweetheart Kimberly Johnston Pastrana for 41 years, a proud father to Christopher (Tania), Michael, and Alexis (Alexander), and a doting pawpaw buckethead to his lil buckethead, Luca.
He is survived by his siblings, Bertha Tena (Jesus), Norma Herrera (Israel), Maria Dominguez (James), and Fernando Pastrana, along with his sisters-in-law Tina Haydel, Tonda Adolph (Ernie), and Sandra Pastrana, mother-in-law, Geneva Haydel, and a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded by his parents, Paul and Manuela Pastrana, and his brother Oscar Pastrana.
Paul, “Titi,” loved roaming the winding roads and doing donuts on his bike as a member of the H.O.G. He was excited to pursue his lifetime dream of becoming a pilot as an aviation student. He was a hard worker and innovator, a real MacGyver-type. One of his favorite things to do was to make 360 videos of all his best moments, which were always those spent with the ones he loved. He took every day nice and slow and is remembered for his playful nudges on the shoulder, encouraging bear hugs, witty humor, and astounding bowling and cornhole skills.
Paul will be deeply missed by his wife, children, grandson, siblings, and all of those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will begin at 9:30AM. A Funeral Service will be held in the Parlor of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
