Patricia Ann Chiquet Coleman

Patricia "Patsy" Ann Chiquet Coleman passed away peacefully on Friday, June 18, 2021 at the age of 77. She was a long time resident of Waggaman, Louisiana born to the late Eddie and Mildred Chiquet. Beloved wife of the late Othel "PeeWee" Coleman of 52 years. Patsy is the mother of Kim C. Blanchard (Kevin) and Kelly A. Coleman. Grandmother of Jarrad Breaux (Brittany), Holden Zink, and Kyle Blanchard. Great grandmother of Abigail and Madelyn Breaux. Sister of Paul J. Chiquet (Dolores), and the late Frederick J. Chiquet (Cheryl), Linda C. Byrd (the late Robert), and Charles J. Chiquet (the late Elsie). She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Patsy was employed at South Central Bell for 34 years and briefly worked for Entergy after her retirement. She was a devout Catholic and parishioner at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Waggaman, Louisiana. She loved her family and worked tirelessly to have the things in life that she was not afforded growing up. She was proud of her daughters, her grandsons and her great granddaughters.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM on Friday, June 25th, 2021 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 6851 River Road in Waggaman, Louisiana. A visitation will be held at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home on Thursday, June 24th, 2021 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM. A rosary service will be prayed at 7:00PM on Thursday night.
