Peggy Theresa Friloux

Peggy Theresa Lauve Friloux passed away on April 11, 2023 at the age of 92. She was born in Waggaman, Louisiana on April 5, 1931 to the late Louis and Estelle Lauve. Loving mother of Marlon Friloux (the late Shannon), Cary Friloux, Gina Ledet (Duane), and the late Blake Friloux (Karan). Proud grandmother of Jordan Friloux Lara (Jose), Chase Ledet, Shelly Faircloth, and the late Brian Faircloth, and great-grandmother of Adriano, Olivia, Emma, Shelby, PJ and Lacy. Peggy is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her siblings Laurence, Hazel, Minkey, Amay, Pearl, Ned, Roy, Jessie and Stella, and her husband Harry Friloux.

Peggy worked as a cafeteria worker and teachers aid in the Jefferson Parish School System until retirement. She enjoyed gardening and being outside, was an avid Saints fan and loved to go to the casino to "relax her nerves", but most of all, she loved to spend time with her family. Peggy was very dedicated to her faith. She was always reading her bible and attending church. She always put God first in her life. She spent a lot of time walking on the asphalt, and now she walks on streets of gold.

A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Des Allemands First Assembly of God Church, 16974 Highway 90 in Des Allemands. Words of remembrance will begin at 7:00 PM.
