Peter is survived by his loving wife Gwendolyn Ann Chew-Sanchez, his mother Mary Lynn Ledet Carraway, father Mark Walter Carraway, mother-in-law Jan Garner, father-in-law Dennis L. Chew, brother-in-law Dennis L. Chew II, his uncle Randal Joseph Ledet, and aunt Michelle Giroir Ledet. Peter is preceded in death by his grandparents, Victoria Angelina Ledet and Rudolph Joseph Ledet.
Pete was a friend to everyone he met and had never met a stranger. His entrepreneurial spirit was evident in his beloved business, Cobalt Pete’s where he spent so many hours entertaining family and friends.
His ability to listen and his sarcastic humor made everyone feel comfort in his presence and defined what it meant to be a friend.
His loss will be felt for a lifetime to come, especially by those who loved him most.
