Phyllis Ouder dePriest entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 20, 2025 at her home in Marrero following a courageous battle with cancer. She is proceeded in death by her devoted husband Dwight dePriest and her parents Harold P. Ouder, Sr. and Dolores Laine Ouder. She is survived by her loving children Troy M. dePriest and his wife Rosie; Nicolle D. Scholl and her husband Michael; Lisa M. dePriest and her brother Harold P. Ouder, Jr. and his wife Jeanne. She was known as “Meme” to her grandchildren and was a devoted grandmother to Alex and Ryan dePriest, Kyler Vancamp, AnnMarie dePriest, Emma Scholl and Logan Evans. She worked in retail and truly was a people pleaser. One of her favorite hobbies were Facebooking and Candy Crushing. Phyllis will always be cherished and missed greatly by her family and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from the Chapel of WESTSIDE/LEITZ-EAGAN Funeral Home on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin Saturday morning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Ascension Catholic Cemetery, Donaldsonville, LA.
