Pierre Paul Bartholomew Jr., a native of Buras, LA, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2015 at the age of 66. He was the beloved husband of Lelya Bartholomew for over 47 years. Father of Sandy Verrett (Frankie), Amy Vasquez (Richie), Katina Martin (Lavon),
Cherie Sanchez (Gil), and Byron Bondi (Kristal). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Brother of Alexius Bartholomew and Patricia Scott. Son of the late Pierre Paul Bartholomew Sr., and Mary Alma Bartholomew. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was a hard working man who loved his family with all his heart.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment will be in Restlawn Park in Avondale. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
