Ralph Leonard Laurent Jr. passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, January 24, 2019. He was 61 years old. Beloved husband of Yvonne Palmer Laurent of 39 years. Loving father of StarLynn Laurent (Damian Danos) and Ralph Leonard Laurent III (Jolene Tassin) and Shane Wilkenson. Grandfather of Michael Hibley, Jack Hibley, Alieyah Danos, and McKindsay Danos. Son of Heloise Perez Laurent and the late Ralph Leonard Laurent Sr. Brother of Jill Laurent Doucet (Richard), Pamela Danos (Timothy), Rickey Beniot (Robin), Karen Caufield (Lionel) and Chris Beniot (Daphne). Nephew of Dale Perez (Charlene). Brother-in-law of Sharon Bull (Othel), Petesy Hymel (Charlie), and the late Brad Cooper and Peter Palmer Jr. Paran of Jessica Usea (Don) and Ronnie Palmisano, Jr. Uncle of Norman Anthony (Christy), Anthony Baudier (Josiah), Roy Aguilar, Jr. (Megan), Mandy Baudier, Stacy Guidroz (Stephen), Jeffery Baudier (Rachel), Butch Doucet (Justin), Jennifer Moore (Carl), and Raymond Cooper (Brandi). Great-uncle of many. Ralph was a lifelong resident of the Westbank and attended West Jefferson High School. He was a career-long electrician. He loved playing the drums and was an avid Saints fan.
