Raymond Carroll Ward

Raymond Carroll Ward, a resident of Marrero, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, January 8th, 2022, at the age of 75. Raymond was born December 10th, 1946 to Nellie Rae Byrd Ward and the late Perry Hilton Ward in Monticello, Mississippi. Raymond went on to live in Marrero, Louisiana for 60 years. Raymond was a proud graduate of Spencer's Business College, and gave 40 dedicated years as a Computer Programmer for Whitney National Bank.

Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Patsy Desoto Ward, with whom he spent 50 years. Also left to cherish his memory is his dear brother, Jackie Hilton Ward (Wendy), his sister-in-law Betty D. Avril, his brother-in-law Tommy Avril, as well as a host of cherished nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, January 13th, 2022 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. The funeral service will be officiated by Father Bernie Terrebonne. A visitation will be held from 9:00AM until 11:00AM. Interment will follow the service at Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale, Louisiana. The family asks that all attendants of Mr. Raymond's services please wear a proper face covering.
