Ronald "Splint" James Guidry

Ronald "Splint" James Guidry, age 67, of Marrero, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 surrounded by his loved ones. "Splint" was born August 15, 1953. He was well know for his music and he loved trawling. Predeceased by his parents Andrew and Agatha Guidry. He was also predeceased by his mother-in-law Mary Jo Smith. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 18 years Rhonda Smith Guidry. Father of Melissa Gerhold-Guidry, Rebecca Robert (Brent Jr.), and Rachel Betz (Ryan Sr.). Brother of the late Kerry Rojas and Kenneth Guidry (Carol Lee). Grandfather of Haley and Hannah Robert; Kaley, Ryan Jr., and Karma Betz, and Jordan Gerhold-Guidry. Great grandfather of Nevaeh Grace Robert. He will also be survived by numerous nephews and nieces. He will be missed by all those who knew him. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 31, 2020 at 9:00 am until 12:00pm at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expresway, Marrero, LA .
