Rosalie was born in Raceland, Louisiana on October 9, 1947, the daughter of Glenn and Ruby Lee Chauvin Mathis and lived most of her life in Luling, Louisiana.
A beautiful, loving, thoughtful and giving person, Rosalie is preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband of nearly 25 years, Louis J Gassen, Jr., her children: Damien LoCoco (Kelly Badeaux) and Jessica LoCoco Broom (Joshua) and her 4 grandsons: Gabriel (Fiancé Karina Goldthorp) & Elijah LoCoco, Darien and Joshua S. Broom and one sister, Glennette Mathis Adams (Henry).
A visitation will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 234 Angus Drive in Luling, Louisiana on Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 9:00AM until 11:00AM. The Mass will follow the visitation from 11:00AM until 12:00PM. Interment will be held at St. Charles Cemetery and Mausoleum,1279 Paul Mallard Road in Luling, Louisiana.
