Rose May

Rose Bergeron May passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at the age of 69. She was the beloved wife of Frederick May and the late Benny Waterman. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Bergeron and Rose Fuzette. She was the mother of Michele May and Christopher May, and mother in law of Jill May. She had one precious granddaughter, Olivia Louise May. She was a member and past president of CCSCC, Visitation’s Coop Club, and Immaculata High Coop Club; and a member Ladies of the Shield at Brother Martin High School, and Brother Martin Parents Club. She was a board member of the Archdiocese of New Orleans School Board. Chair Person of Hospitality Ministry at Visitation of Our Lady. She received the St. Louis Medallion, and Best of the West. Retired from South Central Bell.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church, 3500 Ames Blvd., on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Westside Letiz-Eagan Funeral Home, and continue on Thursday at church from 10:00 AM until the Mass. Interment will be in Westlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, masses at Visitation preferred. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
