Roy and Patricia Comeaux

Patricia Bounds Comeaux born February 11, 1944 in Seminary, Mississippi died Wednesday, February 19, 2020 with loved ones at her side. Patricia loved spending time with her family and loved her grandchildren fiercely. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She loved working with children as a teacher’s aide and tutoring children. Roy Andrew Comeaux Jr. born on September 24, 1939 in New Orleans, LA died Thursday, February 20th, 2020. Roy had many talents. He created paintings, and he could make anything out of wood. He loved collecting things and working in his shed. They were married for 56 years and were lifelong residents of Avondale, Louisiana. They are survived by Laura Comeaux McKenzie (Mike), Lisa Comeaux McElhannon (Robby). Grandparents of Melissa Pellegrin Beck (Brandon), Dwayne Boudreaux, Michael Mckenzie II, Samuel Mckenzie , and Lundi McElhannon. Great Grandparents of Chance Perry, Madison Boudreax and Bella Beck. They were also survived by Patricia's sister Mary Norton (Bob), Roy’s sister Sandra Manlove, and Donald Comeaux (Jackie). Patricia and Roy had many nieces, nephews, and friends that meant the world to them. They will be missed by many. They are healed and together again in heaven. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Marrero, 4001 7th St. Marrero, Louisiana on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to the Breast Cancer Awareness Association, Dementia research, or Hospice Care.
