Sandra Marie Guidroz

Sandra Marie Guidroz, age 69, of Marrero, Louisiana passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025. She was born on July 22, 1956 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late John P. Wilson and Doris Oddo. Devoted wife of the late Albert "T-Boy" Wayne Guidroz, Sr. Loving mother of Mendy Lynn Boudreaux (Jason) and Ricky G. Boudreaux, Jr. (Tiffany). Proud grandmother of Mason Allen Briant (Sharna), Michael Allen Briant (Allison), David L. Foster, III, Leia Marie Boudreaux, Ricky "Trey" G. Boudreaux, III, Johnny Aldama (Paris), Christa Guidroz (Jason), Kayla Guidroz (Rob) and Shawn Bean and many great-grandchildren. Sister of the late John P. Wilson, Jr. Sandra is also survived by her caretaker, Mariam Kashif as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Sandra loved life and cherished her family above all else.

She found joy in simple pleasures—fishing, dancing, and trying her luck at the casino. One of her favorite pastimes was listening to Swamp Pop music and dancing the night away. Sandra also had a passion for travel, whether it was cruising the seas or hopping on a plane to explore new places.

Above all, she was devoted to her family. Sandra never missed an opportunity to be there for her loved ones. She and “T-Boy” traveled across the country to support their grandchildren in every event, cheering them on with pride.

Some of her most treasured traditions were hosting Christmas Eve at her home and her beloved “Sunday-Funday” gatherings, where laughter and love filled the air. Her vibrant spirit and unwavering love will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.

A visitation for Sandra will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero. Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00 PM.
