Santo Ditta

On January 5, 2021, Santo Ditta earned his angel wings at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, LA. He was a resident of Evergreen Life Services and resided in Hammond over the past 56 years. Santo was loved by everyone who came to know him. His smile and laughter were infectious. He adored his three sisters who looked after him for many years. Son of the late Rose Cangelosi Ditta and Bernard Ditta, also preceded in death by his grandparents, three young brothers and many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his brother, Joe Ditta of Maurepas, Shirley Ditta Adams (Libby Rivet), of Marrero, Anthony Ditta of Marrero, Linda Ditta Wiltshire (Jimmy Wiltshire) of Biloxi, MS, and Judy Ditta Lotz (Albert H. (Herbie) Lotz, III, of Hammond, LA, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A private service will be held on Friday, January 8, 2020 at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home in Marrero, LA with burial to follow at Westlawn South in Gretna, LA.
