Shirley Mae Lambert

Shirley Mae Marie Caillet Lambert entered peacefully into heaven on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, surrounded her loving family. Devoted wife of the late Howard Joseph Lambert, Sr. of 50 years. A loving mother of Marie Lambert Sylvester (Thomas “Tommy”), Howard Joseph Lambert, Jr., Raymond Paul Lambert and preceded in death by her son, Mark Timothy Lambert. Daughter of the late Denise Marie Waggespack Caillet and Cyril Anthony Caillet, Sr. Sister of Helen C. Baudouin (Donald),Muriel C. Foxworth (Emmet) and preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Leola C. Madere (John), Lois C. Baudouin (Irby), Florence C. Madere (Sydney), Hazel C. Millet (Walter), Cyril A. Caillet,Jr., Paul V. Caillet and Odell F. Caillet (Jeanne). Also survived by her sister-in-laws Carol B. Caillet and Bernice F. Caillet.

Age 83, born on the Waterford Planation in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana and a resident of Waggaman, Louisiana. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, an active church member of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, loved being a homemaker and spending time with family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy., Marrero, LA on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 11:00 am. Visitation from 10:00 am until Mass time. Interment following in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
