

He was the beloved husband of Judy Roddy Horner for 34 years; son of the late Robert E. Horner and Lillian Howard; brother of Judy "Jukebox" Jacobsen (Poul) and Jeannie "Bugaboo" Weyers (Lyle), as well as the late Robert "Bob" Horner, Carolyn Roark (Bob), and Maryann "Mimi" Nagel (Ken); father of Dawn Yde and Mike Horner (Jenny); step-father of Melissa Badeaux, Christy Ragas (Sweet Pea), Angie Clement (Chad Sr.), and Floyd "Bruiser" Badeaux III (Jessica); grandfather of Aaron, Arik (Katie), Alex (Sydney), Adam (Jillian), Austin (Kelly), Aidan, Jessica (Nick), Nicholas, Tyler (Kali), Kylie (Brad Jr.), Devin (Mallorie), Taylor (Blaze Sr.), Chad Jr. (Hannah), Payton (Faith), Dylan (Kristen), Zachary (Mariah), and Chelsey. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren with three more on the way, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Tom was born in Wisconsin but lived in Marrero for 40 years. He retired from Falk Corporation where he was a sales and service engineer for 40 years. Upon retirement, he continued as a consultant for his former company, continuing to serve his customers. As an engineer, he traveled the world. Tom enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He enjoyed watching football and was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints, and LSU. He would love to catch a Milwaukee Brewers game with his grandsons whenever he was in town.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA, on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 1:00 PM.
