Uella B. "Chic" Orgeron passed away on February 24, 2022 at the age of 93. She was born on November 18, 1928 in Westwego to the late Pierre and Mae Breaux. Devoted wife of the late Malvin J. Orgeron. Loving mother of Patricia "Patty" Orgeron Noble (Pat), Kim Paul Orgeron (Sharon), Sally Orgeron Foret (Ricky) and Jamie Pierre Orgeron (Dana) and the late Tommy J. Orgeron (Kim). Proud grandmother of Christian and Christopher Orgeron, Julie and Brent Burmaster, Jared and Lauren Orgeron, Brian Rodrigue, Misty Landis and Kelli Lafleur. Great-grandmother of 9 and great-great-grandmother of 2. Sister of Joan Taravella (the late Don) and Cheryl Ramagos (Danny) and the late Joseph and Peter Breaux. Uella is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Chic enjoyed bowling and going to the casino, but most of all, being called "Gram" by everyone that knew her. She loved spending time with her family and having long conversations on the phone with her sisters. She also enjoyed passing on her recipes to anyone that wanted them. Chic was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
A private family memorial will be held during the interment at Westlawn Cemetery.
