Vanda Taulli Thiel

Vanda Taulli Thiel went to Heaven on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at the age of 60 with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Timothy Thiel for the past 34 years and the daughter of the late Lawrence "Eddie" Taulli and Audrey LeJeune Taulli as well as the sister of Janice Lasseigne (David), Audrey Bates (the late Will) and Laurie Taulli. She was the sister-in-law of Keith (Angel) and the late Lorraine Thiel. Vanda was also the aunt of Gary, Nikki and Miranda and the God-mother of Alexandra "Allie" Phillips.

Vanda worked for 39 years for Jefferson Parish Clerk of Courts and belonged to the “Just for Fun” Club and the Pokeno Club. She will be missed by her family, friends and her devoted Taz and Sam as well as all who knew her and she will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her love of animals, reading, traveling and meeting new people. Vanda was supported by her many family and friends during her courageous struggle. The most dedicated of these were her sister Janice along with her younger sister Laurie, her friends Angel, Rose, Faye, Pat, Kim and Bill.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial services at WESTSIDE/LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 5101 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY, Marrero, La. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at which time a Memorial Mass will be held in the Chapel.
