Vera Wallace Rauch, beloved wife of the late Norcum, J. Rauch, Sr., passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the age of 80. A devoted and loving mother, she is survived by her son, Norcum J. Rauch, Jr. and her granddaughters, Rachel Rauch and Regan Rauch. She will be fondly remembered by her sisters, Shirley Wallace Morter and Joyce Wallace McCollister. She also shared special bonds with her other siblings, the late Edna Wallace Schmitt, Jeremiah Robert Wallace and Gwendolyn Ann Wallace. A native of New Orleans, LA and she was a long time resident of Marrero. Vera will be dearly missed by her family and many friends whose lives she has touched over the years.
