Veronica Ann Donewar Roberts

Veronica Ann Donewar Roberts passed away on August 6, 2025 at the age of 76. She was born on April 25, 1949 in Algiers, Louisiana to the late Charles Donewar, Sr. and Estelle Godeaux Donewar. Ronnie was the beloved wife of 60 years to Milton Roberts. Loving mother of Tony Roberts (Dara), Windy Helmer (Michael, Sr.) and Randy Roberts, Sr. (Natasha). Proud grandmother of Brandon Vincent, Sr. (Sarah), Jesse Vincent, Ashley Roberts, Kaitlyn Helmer, Davin Gabriel, Sr. (Shayne), Michael Helmer, Jr. (Alexis), Colby Roberts (Taylor), Randy Roberts, Jr. and Victoria Roberts. Great-grandmother of Madison Smith, Kassidy Smith, Zayden Vincent, Kaizley Chiasson, Arianna Vincent, Kallen Helmer, Davin Gabriel, Jr., Lane Chiasson, Ella Vincent, Brandon Vincent, Jr., Wrenley Roberts, Waylon Helmer and Hayes Roberts. Sister of the late Charles Donewar, Jr. (the late Josephine) and Ruth Donewar Linaker.

Ronnie enjoyed tending to her flowers and going to the casino with family and friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with her husband, children, grand and great-grandchildren especially during the holidays. Ronnie had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
