Wayne Mark Chiasson, age 77, peacefully entered eternal rest, May 30, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Wayne was born January 10, 1948, to the late Earnie Chiasson,Sr. and Della Dupre Chiasson. He leaves behind four brothers, Carl Chiasson, Earnie Chiasson Jr., Ray Chiasson, and Brian Chiasson, as well as other relatives and friends. Wayne was preceded in death by his brothers, Glenn Chiasson and Elmond Chiasson Sr.
Wayne’s family would like to express much gratitude to the medical staff at West Jefferson Hospital, particularly Bridgepoint for Wayne’s compassionate care. We are grateful to Jo Ellen Convalescent Center for their compassionate and professional care for the last five years.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation for Wayne on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero. A private interment will take place at a later date.
