Wiley John Breaux Sr.

Wiley John “Pops” Breaux, Sr. entered peacefully into heaven on Saturday, December 5, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Bernadette Perez Breaux. Loving father of Wiley J. Breaux, III (Lisa), Chantelle Breaux Kennedy (John), Melissa Breaux Grego (Joe) and Wiley J. Breaux, Jr. A proud grandfather of Shyann Breaux, Amanda Breaux, Deric Dubois (Briana), Braden Boles, Britini Clark, Owen Clark and Truly Breaux. Son of the late Estella Punch Breaux and Ovile J. Breaux. Brother of Ovile P. Breaux, Sr., Walter J. Breaux, Sr. and preceded in death by Elson “Black” Breaux, Marion Breaux, Bessie Breaux Cupp and Alice Breaux. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age 79, a native of Marrero, LA and lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. “Pops” owned Wiley Breaux Electrical Service, Inc. and former owner of Tip’s Bar in Westwego, LA. He knew everyone and never met a stranger. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, casinos, traveling to football games and Las Vegas, playing pool and shooting darts but mostly spending time with his family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy., Marrero, LA on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 1:00 pm with visitation beginning at 9:00 am.
