William "Billy" Henry Ford Sr.

William "Billy" Henry Ford Sr. of Marrero, Louisiana passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023, at the age of 62. William was born in San Benito, Texas to the late Robert B. Ford and Maria Monreal Ford. Devoted father of William Ford, Jr., Bryan Ford (Samantha), and Kelly Ford (Chris). Proud Paw Paw Billy of Khale and Kali Ford and Bryan Jr. and Kai Ford. Brother of Ramon Ramos Sr. (the late Mary), Amalia Ramos, Clyde "Bobby" Ford (Tessie), David Ford (the late Misty), Richard Ford (Rosie), Juana "Sally" Orgeron (Christian "Chris"), and the late Arcelia Ramos, Juan Ramos, Raphael Ramos, Jose' Ramos, Guadalupe "Lupito" Ramos, and Antonio Ramos. Billy is also survived by other relatives and many friends who will miss him dearly.

Billy was a framer in the construction industry. He had many hobbies that included fishing, working on cars, and shooting pool with friends. Billy often traveled to Texas to visit his family. He also enjoyed spending quality time with his loving family.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, September 19th, 2023 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin on Monday, September 18th, 2023 at 5:30PM until 9:00PM at the funeral home, and will continue on Tuesday from 8:30AM until the Mass time. Billy will be laid to rest at Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale, Louisiana.
