William Lee Leger

William “Buddy” Leger entered peacefully into heaven on Thursday, August 26, 2021. Beloved husband of Mary “Cathy” Leger. Step-father of Sean Ferrer (Rachelle), Joseph Stephens (Michelle), Victor LaRose (Kristen), Joey LaRose, and Randy Diecedue. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, sister, Rebecca Eymard (the late Darryl), brother-in-laws David Waguespack (Wendy), Kevin Waguespack, and Ken Waguespack (Christina), many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephew. Predeceased by his parents Joseph P. & Lula P. Leger and sister, Lelia Mae Leger. He was a resident of Plaquemines Parish for 67 years.

Buddy was an avid LSU and Saints football fan, but that was not what he loved the most; he loved to ride! His Harley’s were all he talked about and missed the most. So, for all his biker friends out there, and for my husband, this is for you:

BIKERS PRAYER – May the sun rise in front of me, the rain fall behind me, and the wind follow me. May the angels guard my travels for they know what is ahead of me. Keep me safe through rolling hills and swirling turns. Let the eagle guide me to the mountain tops. Let the moon’s light guide me through the night. Lord, thank you for letting me be a Biker.
