

A native of Augusta, Mrs. Lamb was a former resident of Grovetown and had made her home in Harlem for the past 40 years. A great lover of the outdoors, she could often be found working in her yard or tending to her flowers with her beloved dogs "Bubba" and "Scooter" by her side.
Mrs. Lamb was the daughter of the late Willie Dee Shelton and Joseph Sanders Albert. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Danny Lawson Huffman, and her husband, George Edward Lamb, Sr. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Huffman of Harlem and Glenn Huffman (Renee) of Martinez. Also surviving Mrs. Lamb are three grandsons, Jeremy Huffman of Augusta, Travis Huffman (Kayla) of Harlem, and Sean Huffman (Brandy) of Grovetown; two great-grandsons, Caleb and Brooks Huffman of Grovetown; and two brothers, Joseph D. Albert (Licia) of Harrisonburg, VA and Richard E. Albert (Josephine) of Baton Rouge, LA; several nieces and nephews, and a number of dear friends and neighbors.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, from 6-8pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez, GA 30907. At the request of the deceased, no funeral or memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Columbia County Humane Society at P.O. Box 204771, Martinez, GA 30917.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Doris Tummillo, as well as the Doctors Hospital PCU nursing team, for the great care and kindness extended during Mrs. Lamb's illness.
