

Betty was born in Maryville, Missouri to her loving parents the late Pauline and Luther Jenson. After following her husband's military career, she settled down in Augusta, Georgia in 1965. She retired from the Richmond County Health Department in 1997.
She loved to sing and play the piano. Her heart was her grandchildren and great grandchildren, calling them her sunshine. She was a member of the Damren Sunday School Class and Prime Time Singers at Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Eldon Jenson. She has 3 children, Michael (Ruth) Clement of Evans, Georgia; Mark (Linda) Clement, of North Charleston, SC; Cheryl (Eric) Long, of Evans, GA. Grandchildren - Jonathon Clement, of Ogden, Utah; Jill (Rob) McGee, of Evans, GA; Kristen (Isaac) Ward, of Guyton, GA; Heather Gallagher, of Roanoke, VA. Great grandchildren - Hunter and Connor Gallagher of Roanoke, VA; Jackson Clement, of Ogden, Utah; Lucy and Fulton McGee, of Evans, GA; and Abigail, George and Calvin Ward of Guyton, GA and a host of nieces and great nieces, and special friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 5 from 12:30-2pm at Trinity on the Hill 1330 Monte Sano Avenue, Augusta for visitation. Funeral services will be held following the visitation at 2pm. Officiating will be Rev Roy McVeigh. Followed by the internment at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Road.
Memorials can be made to Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church. Pallbearers who will honor Mrs. Clement are Walt Alexanderson, Jim Faxon, Bobby Centers, Michael Thurman, Mark Carpenter, Jerome Edwards.
