Clark D Zimmerman

Clark was a devoted husband, loving father and great friend. He proudly served his country for 24 years in the United States military. His service allowed him to travel the world, and he especially loved his time spent in the Far East. An adventurous spirit, Clark was also a Master Scuba Diver and Instructor who shared his passion for the ocean with many.

Clark was preceded in death by his beloved son, Clark Zimmerman, Jr., and his sister, Cindy Zimmerman.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Carol Zimmerman; sons Gary Zimmerman and Mark Zimmerman; grandchildren Anthony Zimmerman and Tracy Hatcher; and three cherished great-grandchildren.

Clark was a Freemason and a man of integrity, adventure, and dedication. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, GA 30906, followed by interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Road, Augusta, GA, with military honors.
