

FEINSTEIN, David Thomas (Tim), 90, entered into eternal rest on December 20, 2018 at Lake Crossing Health Center, Appling, Georgia. He was a beloved Husband, Dad, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend to many. Mr. Feinstein was a loyal fan of the University of Tennessee Volunteers football and basketball teams through winning and losing seasons. He had a quick wit and loved to make others laugh. Born in Gary, Indiana, his family relocated to Nashville, Tennessee when he was a small child. Mr. Feinstein attended Central High School where he was an outstanding athlete on the varsity basketball and baseball teams and also boxed in the Golden Gloves. After graduation, he completed his certification in residential and commercial electrical wiring at Hume-Fogg Technical School. He proudly served his country for two years in the Navy Reserve and also played for several years on the Nashville Sounds Softball Team. Mr. Feinstein worked as a journeyman electrician for over 40 years until he retired in 1990 and was a 70 year member of IBEW Local 429. He and his wife relocated to Augusta, Georgia in 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lucille Feinstein, sisters Mildred Harp, Ethel Mendivil, and Carolyn King; brothers Henry, Frank, Robert, William, Charles and Richard Feinstein. He is survived by his adoring and devoted wife of 68 years, Martha Chrisman Feinstein; children, Diane Sarber (Michael) Clarks Hill, SC; Julie Corrigan, Franklin, TN; and Brian Feinstein (Rosa), Frisco, TX; 6 grandchildren, Jason Irwin, Justin Irwin (Brandi), Kaitlen Sarber (Tyler), Wade Luckett (Kerianne), Hayley Feinstein, and Jack Feinstein; 2 great-grandchildren, Skyler and Wyatt Irwin; brother Jerry Dean Feinstein (Brenda); and many nieces and nephews. Graveside service at 1:00 p.m. on December 29, 2018, Chaplain Race Lariscy officiating, at Savannah Valley Memorial Garden, Thomson, Georgia.
