Deanna Dawn Dickerson Day

Deanna Dawn Dickerson Day, 41, entered into rest on Sunday, October 14, 2012. She was born August 29, 1971 in Mesa, AZ. Deanna graduated from Andress High School in 1988. After high school, she entered the Army Reserves and completed training as an Operating Room Specialist in El Paso, TX. After moving to Martinez, GA she worked as a Cell Saver Tech in the Operating Room at Aiken Regional Hospital. On December 10, 1998 she married Steven Day. She was a lifelong cherished daughter, loving sister, and devoted wife and mother. Deanna was baptized and saved at West Side Baptist Church in 1996. She is survived by her loving husband, Steven Day; daughters, Ashley Danielle and Heather Nicole; father, George Dickerson; mother, Joyce Dickerson; brothers, George Dickerson, Jr. and Robert Dickerson; uncle, Dr. William Lange; aunt, Mildred Lange; father-in-law, Ronelle Day; mother-in-law, Mary Ann Day; sister-in-law, Nita Day; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2012 at West Acres Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Harmon officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Keith Blackwell, Mark Watkins, Doug Downing, Brook Carter, Dennis West, and Woody Moore. The family will receive Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
