David Walters was a loving father and grandfather who worked tirelessly to provide for his family. Throughout his life, he made it his mission to ensure that his loved ones were well taken care of, even if it meant sacrificing his presence at family events or his children's activities. His commitment to providing for his family never wavered, and he always made sure that, no matter the challenges, they could count on him for support.
One of his greatest joys was spending time with his children and grandchildren, especially on fishing trips. Those moments of connection on the water were some of his happiest, sharing stories and creating memories that will live on with his family forever.
Though he may not have been perfect, the love he had for his family was unwavering. He would have done anything to help any one of them, and his heart was always in the right place when it came to the people he cared about most. One thing I’ll never forget is how, every chance he had, he would call or visit his parents to check in on them. Family was what mattered most to him, and he made sure that love was felt through his actions, big and small.
My dad loved hunting and fishing. Every Sunday he watched NASCAR. His favorite drivers were Dale Earnhardt SR #3 and Dale Earnhardt JR. #88. His favorite football team was the Florida Gators. He loved riding motorcycles. His hobby was painting pictures and ceramics.
David is preceded in death by Father William Lafayette Walters and Mother Rachel Alvada Tootle; Brothers William Terry Walters and James Kenneth Walters. He is survived by his children Tara Lin Walters, Brian David Walters, and Domini (Walters) Noel; grandchildren Tatsumi David Walters, Mika Linn Walters, Emma Nichole Noel, and Abby Christina Noel.
