Mr. Cox was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working in the yard, and spending time with his beloved pets, Buddy and Miley.
Mr. Cox is preceded in death by his son, Steven Wayne Cox. Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Mrs. Ruby Eleanor Cox; daughter, Candy Maynard; son, Albert (Donna) Cox; daughter-in-law, Julie Cox; grandchildren, Sam Cox, Eric Maynard(Heather), Wesley Maynard (Maddie), Josh Kendall, Patricia (Edward) Garza, and Jessica Kendall; great-grandchildren, Madison Maynard, Kellin Maynard, Bea Garza, and Gemma Garza; and sister, Mattie Bell Stewart.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the Chapel of Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
