He was born on September 29, 1942, in Augusta, the son of the late Abe and Anne Tanenbaum
Schneider.
Ira was graduated from local Augusta schools and served his country in the United States Army Reserves.
He could be found in the family music store, Schneider’s Music Center.
Ira is predeceased by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Voll Schneider; step-son, Jeffrey Ghingold; sisters, Donna Smith (Joel) and Tina Weinstein (Jack) and several nieces and nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, September 1, 2023 at Magnolia Cemetery conducted by Rabbi David Sirull. Friends invited.
