James Ralph Grant Jr.

James is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Grant; children, Kristie (Jamie) Parker of New Ellington, SC, Robbie Grant of Aiken, SC, Patricia (Steven) Schmidt of Leesville, SC, Mary Katherine Sola of Appling, GA, Martin F. Silver of Appling, GA, and Thomas F. Silver of Appling, GA; 9 grandchildren; his mother, Mary C. Grant of N. Augusta, SC; one brother, Virgil (Debra) Grant of Forest City, NC; sisters, Janice P. (Blake) Moore of Aiken, SC, and Susan House of N. Augusta, SC; special friends, Cecil and Polly Kite; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home Columbia Road Chapel with Rev. Andy Collins officiating. Interment will be in Westover Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 26, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
