Janice Grubbs, 86, of Augusta, Georgia, passed away on February 17, 2026. Born on November 20, 1939, Janice will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew her.
Janice and Ray Grubbs met in junior high school, and Janice told her girlfriend that she would marry him at first sight. They would have celebrated 70 years of marriage on July 10, 2026.
Janice is survived by her spouse, Raymond P. Grubbs, Sr.; her children, Renee Herndon, Carla Smith, Raymond Grubbs, Jr., and Tracy Prince; and her grandchildren, Natasha, Jenna, Jason, Hayley, Jesse, Taylar, and T.J. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren.
