Kyong was a devoted wife and friend. She was known for being a loving and thoughtful person. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, gardening and bird watching. Kyong loved the Lord and was a faithful and dedicated member of Providence Baptist Church.
Kyong is survived by her loving husband John A Ross, Jr; stepdaughter Arcella Ross; step grandchildren Rhoderick and Tiffany; brothers Kang, Song Ryong, Kang, Song Kyong, Kang, Song Moon, Kang, Song Kwan; sister in laws Gloria Crews, Annie Wilson, Peggy Crews, Phyllis Lane (Derrick); brother in laws James Crews Jr, Charles Crews and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Pallbearers who will honor Mrs. Kyong Ross are Kang, Song Kyong, David Lundy, Derrick Lane, Darryl Lundy, Charles Crews, Daniel Lundy. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kang, Song Ryong, Kang, Song Kwan, John A Ross Jr.
A visitation for Mrs. Kyong will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez, GA 30907. A funeral service will occur Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 1:00 PM at Providence Baptist Church, 3850 Wrightsboro Road, Augusta, GA 30907.
Kyong will be laid to rest in Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Road, Augusta, GA 30906-2765.
