Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 in the Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating. Burial will also be in the Bellevue Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, at the Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Columbia Rd.
Mrs. Stewart was born in Knoxville Tennessee, but has lived in Martinez for many years. She was a Registered Nurse at Doctors Hospital where she also had retired from.
Survivors include her husband, Gary L. Stewart Sr. Her two sons, Gary L. Stewart Jr. and Bryan Lewis. Her brother, Benjamin Mantlow. Her 6-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
