Ray Adam Landers

Mr. Landers was born in Augusta, GA to the late Jack and Ruby Landers. He was a 1981 graduate of Evans High School. Mr. Landers was a traditional man who was stern, but loving. He was kind to everyone and was always the first to lend a helping hand to others. Mr. Landers was hardworking and worked as a maintenance mechanic for a sawmill for many years.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Landers is preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Eugene Landers; and sister, Brenda Dale Landers. Mr. Landers is survived by his loving wife of 28 years Cynthia Landers; children, Rachael Simpson (David), Tommy Kirkendoll and Bobby Kirkendoll; niece, Veronica Lawrence; grandchildren, Mallory Cauley, Kylie Kirkendoll, Ayna Kirkendoll, Jesee Simpson, Aaron Simpson, Rae-Leigh Simpson, and Davana Simpson; and great-grandchild, Cowen Hayes Mantooth.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Columbia Road on Thursday, March 27, 2025. Graveside services will be at 1pm, Friday, March 28, 2025 at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704
