Mr. Tanner enjoyed fishing, cooking and entertaining his family and friends. He was a generous man who had a big heart.
Mr. Tanner is preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Tanner Sr. Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Betty Tanner; daughter, Ashleigh Tanner; mother, Barbara Callahan; brothers, Jimmie Tanner (Patricia) and Glenn Tanner (Barbara); sisters, Susan Michaels (Ronald) and Tina Tyler (Pete); step-brother, Johnny Lewis; step-sister, Bonnie Richie; step- daughter, Suzanne McLamb (Ron); and grandchildren, Duncan McLamb and Ella Grace McLamb.
The family will receive friends from 6-8, Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Wesley United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Wesley United Methodist Church.
